Contact form

When you send a message, the name, email address, subject and message you enter are delivered to me by email through Formspree (a form-processing service), so that I can reply. I keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting work. Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual steps).

Statistics cookies (only with your consent)

If you click Accept in the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (G-J7QQ46115D), provided by Google Ireland Limited. It sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to count visits, see which pages and countries they come from, and whether the contact form was used. Data is kept for up to 14 months. Ad personalisation is disabled. Legal basis: your consent.

If you click Reject or ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded and no cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage, key cp-consent-v1) for 6 months.

Site assistant

The "Ask about my work" assistant answers from my CV and FAQ using an AI model. Your question is processed on Amazon Web Services (search over my documents), and the question with the last few messages of the conversation is sent to Anthropic (the model provider) to generate the answer; Anthropic does not use them to train models. I store each question with its answer, the sources used and a daily-changing hash of your IP address (never the address itself) for 30 days, to find questions the assistant could not answer and to prevent abuse. No cookies are used. Please don't type personal data into it. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in answering questions about my work.

Hosting

The site is static and served by Amazon Web Services (CloudFront/S3). Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver pages; standard access logs are not used for profiling.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing catalinp69@outlook.com. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
